Here’s a fun little piece Ana Jackson of our local NBC affiliate NBC4 in Columbus, Ohio made with us on Friday.

Watch the Video about the SKREENED community’s response to news events like balloon boy on their site.

CENTRAL OHIO—The balloon boy story may float away from the headlines, but it’s already landed a different kind of exposure. The story is hot off the press—the T-shirt printing press.

You can now wear a piece of the story.

Daniel Fox owns Skreened, a local T-shirt printing company.

He said artists have already started submitting balloon boy designs to be printed up and shipped out.

“I think there’s a lot of potential in this story because it’s kind of bizarre. But I think people like to reference stuff in pop culture that might be kind of weird,“ explained Fox.

Fox says anything fresh and interesting in the news can help fuel business. The swine flu or H1N1 was the last big craze that launched dozens of designs.
