How can I make sure my design is centered after resizing it? Also, what are the image dimensions for the tote bag? Thanks
Love the design of the website. Very clean and friendly.
Comment by azac April 25, 2009 @ 7:36 pmWhen you are centering it on the site get it as close as centered as you can. And don’t sweat it too much because the people who print the shirts at the store make sure it’s centered, too.
The tote bag dimensions are actually listed on our site.

Comment by skreened April 29, 2009 @ 10:53 amI am a shop owner and want to buy some of my own shirts and maybe some others, anyway I was wondering if y’all ever thought of letting people use their commission on purchases without having to be sent money first(use money from a shop account). Just thought this would save Skreened and myself time and money. Thanks for your time.
Comment by ben April 29, 2009 @ 2:06 pmof course it’s totally a win win. It’s in the works, ben! good stuff!
Comment by skreened April 29, 2009 @ 2:24 pmHi Skreened folk! Love your site, very easy to work with. I’ve been building my store here for about a week, http://www.skreened.com/tmen, moving some designs from a “Competing Printer,” and creating new ones, and would like to know what it takes to get a mention in the “featured designs” section. Other questions were answered above, so thanks for those too.
Comment by KLC Lewis April 29, 2009 @ 3:43 pmHey folks. I just read the monthly email newsletter (thanks) and it mentions a new category system to be coming in a few days. How is the category system different than the tag system? Will tags be used to put old designs in the new category system?
Comment by Jim May 1, 2009 @ 6:59 amHey, I signed up to receive the newsletter but I never received it. Can someone please give me a summary of what else is in it?
Comment by azac May 1, 2009 @ 8:57 amHi, azac. You can view it here:

Comment by azac May 1, 2009 @ 11:54 amthanks for maintaining a great business that is SIMPLE to use…its awesome!
is there a way that the preview of design images can be larger?
if there is any detail at all it can’t be seen and many times it is the subtle things that make the image. as of now i have to a) email images to those interested and b) maintain a separate blog where i can post my design images in a larger format to be linked to (both options a bummer).
i am interested to know if this is something that is being worked on because to me it is kind of the Achilles heel to such an image dependent business which is largely popluated by artists and designers (those with an eye for detail). Thanks for listening and keep up the GREAT work!
Comment by sean May 13, 2009 @ 4:43 pmHi, this may be a daft question – but can you move designs/products after you created them? I was too blind to notice you are able to create sections, but when I create them I could not see a way to move already created designs/products there … Now before I put any more stuff in the shop it would be nice to know …
Thank you!

Hi Hilly
Log into your account then click on your shop name under “Shops”. At the top you will see a list of option. Click on the one that is “Categories” and ant create the name of the category you want and add it. Then go back to the options list you were just at and click on “Designs”.
At the right of each design is, “Visit Edit Delete”. Click on edit and you will see at the far right, the Category drop-down menu. Choose the proper category from your menu and then click on “Save my custom product” underneath the product description. Repeat this step for any other design you want to move to a new category. That’s it.
Have fun!
Comment by azac June 9, 2009 @ 10:06 amDuh – I knew I was old and blind and there was an easy solution!
Now to fill up the shop and start advertising your cool site …

Comment by Hilly June 9, 2009 @ 11:46 amTags not updating?
Hi Skreened Folk. For the past couple of days, when I enter a new design and assign tags to it, the tags haven’t become searchable even though the product is showing up in my store. Any ideas?
Thanks!
Comment by KLC Lewis June 15, 2009 @ 4:16 pmJust seconding that – I opened a new store yesterday, and none of the tags are searchable, so I’m interested in this answer too.
Thanks,
Steve
Comment by Steve Spatucci June 22, 2009 @ 6:41 pmHello. I’m new to Skreened. Can you tell me how topics are determined for the “browse topics” option?
I don’t see any option to make my products fit into your topics, and they don’t seem to be coming up in the appropriate topics, based on their tags.
Help would be appreciated – thanks!
Comment by Ben June 23, 2009 @ 9:16 amHi Guys,
Comment by Mike July 29, 2009 @ 2:36 amJust started setting up my store http://www.skreened.com/jakuta and had a question regarding the store image uploaded on the store preferences page. I made sure its under 100K but don’t see it displayed anywhere. Where does this image come into play? Thanks
