2008 is upon us and the significance couldn’t be greater. It really is the year of skreened.
January 3rd isn’t significant for any reason other than it represents the new year, new goals, vision and plans that we’re undertaking. We’ve turned off the tele, scheduled the days to a tea, and are starting our first real marketing campaign reaching out to companies we would love to work with.
Mike has been working hard on a new website with a slew of new features and tightening of the old ones. Here’s a list of some stuff coming:
affiliate program ($1.00 per linked item sold in addition to commissions)
better tracking and timely commission payments. (which I grieve as our WORST liability now)
real time drag and drop positioning and resizing in the designer.
updates to the ‘my account’ section with a ledger.
added commissions support for paypal
comments and ratings on designs
selecting certain products to display designs on
store look and feel control via CSS
much faster site and new architecture behind the scenes
able to design for the back of the shirt too!
new products from American Apparel
new natural canvas tote bags
more colors and kids and baby sizes.
email alert options.
new site construction to help with SEO and image searching.
We’ve met some wonderful people in 2007 too. Ryan Morgan, Walker and Anne Evans, The Couchfire collective, Elizabeth Lessner, The Nuclear Children, Michelle from Pizza Primo, The folks at Pattycake Vegan Bakery. And even a slew of interns from Columbus Alternative High School who jumped in for a spell.
well, gotta get back to work! talk to you soon!
